The Philippine topographic maps at scale 1:250,000 were produced with information from the Philippine Coast and Geodetic Survey, Army Map Service, Corps of Engineer, US Coast and Geodetic Survey, Bureau of Public Highways, and other agencies.

Below is an index map for topographic maps at scale 1:250,000. Click on the boxes to view map sheet thumbnails.

The maps in the 711 series at scale 1:50,000 were originally published by the US Army Service and were compiled from aerial photographs taken from 1947 to 1953. The series 711 maps were replaced by the maps of 701 series. The 701 series was produced using aerial photographs taken in 1979 and only covers the Luzon island.

The NTMS maps at scale 1:50,000 replaces both S711 and S701 maps. It covers the whole Philippines in 672 sheets. The NTMS maps are in 15' x 15' interval and elevation are expressed in 20-meter contour line intervals.

The READY Project is a collaborative effort of the Government of the Republic of the Philippines, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Government of Australia Australian Aid (AusAID).

It aims to address the problem of disaster risk management at the local level by empowering the most vulnerable municipalities and cities in the country and enable them to undertake disaster risk management. The project hopes to develop a systematic approach to community based disaster risk management in 27 identified high risk Philippine provinces.

The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) is the executing agency of the Project while the collaborating National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) agencies are the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB), the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS-DOST), and the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical and Services Administration (PAGASA-DOST).
