GIS trainings support economic initiatives of the Provincial Government of Aurora
The National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) conducted a five-day Advanced Geographic Information System (GIS) training for the Provincial Government of Aurora at AMCO Beach Resort, Brgy. Sabang, Baler, Aurora from 26 to 30 August 2024. A preceding five-day Basic GIS training was held at the same venue from 08 to 12 July 2024.

Hope and Education: Outreach efforts for the 2024 Brigada Eskwela unveiled
In line with the agency's participation in the 2024 Brigada Eskwela (BE) activities of the Department of Education (DepEd), the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), through its Bayanihang Bayan Desk (BBD) and Youth Group (YG), went to Dizol Elementary School (DES) of Barangay Dizol, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija Province to conduct a one-time feeding program for its teachers, students, and parent-volunteers on 30 August 2024. The contingent from NAMRIA was headed by the Morale and Welfare Committee (MWC) Vice Chairperson and Concurrent Head of the Socio-Cultural Subcommittee-MWC, Chief of Staff (COS) Rowena E. Bongalos, BBD Focal Person (FP) Jeffrey A. Quodala, and YG FP Rose Arianne E. Borlaza.

GIS training boosts AANR management in MIMAROPA
The National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), in collaboration with the MIMAROPA Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (MAARRDEC) and Romblon State University (RSU), completed the first major activity and the first in-person non-degree training (NDT) of Basic Geographic Information System (GIS) for the Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources (AANR) sector held at the Learning Resource Center of Romblon State University-Main Campus in Odiongan, Romblon on 26-30 August 2024. Twenty-three research personnel, faculty, and technical staff selected by different consortium member institutions (CMIs) participated in the activity.

Do you produce road maps?
NAMRIA produces topographic maps that are used as base maps for other thematic maps like land cover, land condition, land classification, cadastral, etc. In addition, we have digital data of road maps available. This data comes from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
