Support Services Branch Director Concepcion A. Bringas set the workshop's tone in her opening address, highlighting the pivotal role of every branch in collaboratively crafting a forward-thinking HRD plan.

The Strategic HRD Plan crafting was anchored on the first workshop and the discussion on NAMRIA's HRD and strategic plans on hand. The first workshop, "Vision of Success," set the event's objective to develop a strategic HRD plan for 2024-2029. Ms. Xenia R. Andres, Planning and Policy Division Chief, discussed the NAMRIA Strategic Plan 2021-2028, with focus on the Strategic Human Resource Management and Policy Reform and Organizational Development. The presentations and workshops that followed resulted in participants collectively outlining four strategic HRD goals:

1. Strengthening NAMRIA Leadership Development and Continuity Initiatives: Acknowledging the pivotal role of effective leadership, NAMRIA commits to enhancing its leadership development programs to ensure seamless continuity and effectiveness.
2. To attain the Strategic Level of Effectiveness of the Human Resource Development Systems: With a focus on optimization and efficiency, NAMRIA aims to heighten the effectiveness of its HRD systems to harmonize seamlessly with strategic organizational goals.
3. To produce a pool of globally competitive HR with focus on developing competency with global standards; Cultivating Individual and Organizational Competency: Promoting a culture of continual learning and growth, NAMRIA strives to augment the competency of both individuals and the organization.
4. Fostering an Inclusive Organizational Culture: Grounded in principles of inclusivity and empowerment, NAMRIA pledges to nurture an organizational culture where all employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute meaningfully.

The strategic blueprint crafted during this workshop is a testament to NAMRIA's dedication to cultivating its most invaluable asset: its people. The workshop concluded with closing remarks from OIC-Deputy Administrator Ofelia T. Castro where she reaffirmed NAMRIA's steadfast commitment to nurturing a dynamic, resilient workforce prepared to tackle future challenges.
