NAMRIA is a finalist in Investors in People Awards 2021
Awards and Recognitions | Maria Romina D. Pe Benito | 23 September 2021 | Print

Great news for this Philippine Civil Service month!  NAMRIA was informed in an e-mail from Scott Irwin, Marketing Lead of Investors in People (IIP) of its having been shortlisted as Overseas Employer of the Year: Silver.  The shortlist was from a reported “record number of entries” received by the London-based organization that helps “leaders, employees, and companies work together to create an effective environment” through accreditation against a framework to measure their performance (source: https://www.investorsinpeople.com/).  NAMRIA Administrator, Usec. Peter N. Tiangco, PhD was very much pleased with the news, and referred to the agency’s being an IIP contender as “an achievement in itself that further affirms our agency’s goal to be truly world-class.”  He likewise expressed his appreciation to all officials and employees of the agency saying, “Win or lose, malaking panalo na rin ang naabot natin [we already achieved a great victory].”  The Investors in People Awards 2021 will be held online on 23rd November 2021.

Early this year, NAMRIA was awarded IIP We invest in people Silver accreditation after having met all the requirements for IIP Generation 6 Framework in the reaccreditation assessment made by Investors in People (IIP) practitioners.  NAMRIA is the first national government agency to be IIP We invest in people Silver-accredited, next to the Civil Service Commission which is a constitutional commission.  The agency was awarded an Accredited status following the initial IIP assessment done in 2017.  (Source:  NAMRIA Newscoop, “NAMRIA awarded We invest in people Silver accreditation” by Xenia R.
