NAMRIA conducts part 1 on cascading of updates on human resource policies and programs

NAMRIA, through the Administrative Division (AD) of the Support and Services Branch (SSB), conducted a cascading program about the updates on human resource policies and programs. The cascading sessions were held in various locations, namely: NAMRIA Lecture Hall, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City; Hydrography Branch (HB) Conference Hall, San Nicolas, Manila; and Sorrento Function Room, Subic Bay Travelers Hotel and Event Center, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City, Zambales, on 04, 05, and 06 September 2017, respectively.

The half-day program was conducted in line with NAMRIA’s efforts on employee engagement, involvement, and empowerment. The activity aims to create greater awareness and obtain stronger support among NAMRIA employees on the current directions and strategic undertakings of the agency. This is aligned with the agency’s activities on the continuing journey of NAMRIA towards human resource and organization development excellence.

The topics presented were Journey Towards People Management International Standards, Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME HRM) Sustainability Programs, and NAMRIA Quality Management System (QMS) Transition to ISO 9001:2015 Initiative.  After the presentations, an open forum between the resource persons and participants followed.

The resource persons for the program were Ms. Janet Webster, Chairperson of Investors in People Philippines; Geospatial Information System Management Branch Director John Santiago F. Fabic, NAMRIA Quality Management Representative; HB Assistant Dir. Captain Herbert L. Catapang, NAMRIA Deputy Quality Management Representative; and AD Chief Concepcion A. Bringas. The program was facilitated by Ms. Xenia R. Andres, Ms. Florence M. Acle, Ms. Eunice Nicole M. Zapanta, and Mr. Rommel D. Villaber.
