NAMRIA joins Earth Day Bike Parade

NAMRIA bikers joined the Earth Day Bike Parade event held on 24 April 2016. The bike rides started and finished at the Makati City Hall quadrangle. The bike route covered the cities of Makati, Pasig, Mandaluyong, and Quezon City with a distance of 29 kilometers.  The event aims to promote non-motorized transportation for a cleaner environment.
The NAMRIA bikers were Geodesy Division Chief Ronaldo C. Gatchalian, Rosauro D. Santiago, and Johny Rey I. Montemayor of the Mapping and Geodesy Branch; Larry M. Serquina of the Resource Data Analysis Branch; Andres P. Roque II and Rico P. Mendoza of the Geospatial Information System Management Branch; and Loreto  G. Gealone, Nelson G. Gobis, Rey B. Geraldino, Ramuel G. Gatacelo, and Romeo A. Del Puso of the Support Services Branch. 
The event was the official bike parade of the Earth  Day Network Philippines and was co-organized by the DENR and the National Bicycle Organization.
